Punjab PCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu wrote a letter to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi saying, “This is the last chance. We must take advantage of this opportunity.” A 13-point formula has been proposed with the aim of winning the upcoming elections in Punjab. He wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi urging her to implement the 13-point agenda on cultivation laws, drugs mafia, current hardships, sand mafia, women’s empowerment and single window system. Sidhu said in the letter that this was the last chance to avert the damage done to the Congress in the state and that it would be better to rectify them now. Crisis erupted in the Congress over a clash between former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and Sidhu. Recently, Amarinder Singh also resigned as CM. Charan Jit Singh then took over as Channy CEO.
