China Rajappa – Nakka Anandababu: TDP politburo members and former minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa are angry that the media will come to their homes in the middle of the night and make arrests if they talk about important issues. When TDP leader Anandababu spoke at a media conference on the drug issue, Rajappa was incensed that the police came home in the middle of the night. He was further surprised that the police were coming from Narsipatnam to Guntur.
In a similar vein, Rajappa tried to persuade the AP government and the police that it would be better if the police responded so quickly. Rajappa was outraged that the police, who could not go there if cannabis was being cultivated in the adjoining agency area, had come from Narsipatnam to Guntur Agameghala to give notices to Ananda Babu. Rajappa was angry that the police would not respond if there were rapes and attacks on Dalits
Meanwhile, former minister Nakka Anandababu told reporters yesterday that cannabis smuggling was rampant in the state. Visakhapatnam police, who took his remarks seriously, arrived in Guntur last midnight to issue notices. Attempts were made to give notices to give evidence of where the cannabis was found. The TDP leader was angry at the police for refusing to take notices. He, who has been in politics for three decades, said he had never seen such a situation.
