Minister Anil Kumar Yadav: AP Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav has said that the idea of CM YS Jagan was to bring women out of the debt trap. Many schemes are being implemented in the state for the empowerment of women. Anil flagged that Chandrababu Naidu had cheated lakhs of sisters in the state when he came to power by promising to forgive all Dwakra debts before the 2014 elections.
Minister Anil Kumar Yadav said that under the YSR support scheme, Rs 12,759 crore was deposited directly in the beneficiary’s account for women in the state in two tranches. Minister Anil Kumar Yadav held a press conference at the YSR Congress party office in Nellore district. The arrears of Dwakra sisters, which were Rs 14,000 crore during Chandrababu’s rule, have reached Rs 25,517 crore by 2019. Vyas Jagan has released Rs 12,759 crore in two tranches since he came to power following his promise to pay all the arrears, including interest, in four installments after seeing the suffering of his sisters during his pilgrimage.
The minister said that Chandrababu did not pay a single rupee for the zero interest scheme during the TDP regime. After YS Jagan became the Chief Minister through the YSR Zero Interest Scheme, Minister Anil said that Rs 2,354 crore has already been spent to benefit about 98 lakh women, saying that the entire interest burden is being borne by our government. Anil Kumar Yadav has made it clear that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is taking care of 78 lakh Dwakra women as promised during the Praja Sankalp Yatra.
