TDP Chief Chandrababu Protest: Telugu Desam Party leader Chandrababu Naidu is going on a 36-hour protest today to protest the attacks on his party offices. The Chandrababu protest will continue from 8 am today to 8 pm tomorrow. Chandrababu will soon stage a protest at the Mangalagiri TDP office. It is known that Chandrababu wrote letters to the President, the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister regarding the imposition of Presidential rule in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu also demanded a CBI probe into the attacks on TDP offices. Chandrababu, who has sought the appointment of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to lodge a complaint in this regard, is likely to travel to Delhi on Saturday to lodge a complaint on the attacks.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu made sensational remarks that a rogue state was ruling Andhra Pradesh and democracy was being murdered. To this end, Chandrababu wrote separate letters to Indian President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday. YCP ranks have complained to the Center about attacks on TDP offices across the state. The AP has demanded the immediate imposition of a presidential rule and the protection of opposition party leaders and party offices by the central forces. The letter said TDP leaders and party offices across the state, including the TDP headquarters, were attacked for questioning about corruption and drug mafia anarchy in the state.

Chandrababu attached photos, paper clippings and videos of the YCP series of attacks, vandalized party office scenes, photos of TDP leaders injured in the attacks to the letter. He appealed to the President, the Prime Minister and the Home Minister to look into these and maintain law and order in the state and safeguard democracy. The letter alleged that YCP leaders were obstructing power and launching attacks on constitutional institutions, government systems, the judiciary, the media and political parties in the AP. In his letter, Chandrababu asked them to take these attacks seriously and take immediate action.
