Hindupuram meeting: Hindupuram TDP MLA and popular actor Nandamuri Balakrishna demanded that there should be no surplus water for Rayalaseema. He demanded that the river connectivity undertaken in the past should take place. “Our rights are going to be in the hands of the center. If necessary, a Haryana-style movement should be brought to Delhi for European water benefits. Rayalaseema was once the land of gems … but this situation came about due to neglect. ” Balayya commented.

“In view of the situation here, NTR has approached Handrineva. The people here saw the trouble and put on a sling. Slightly vegetated by Telugu Ganga. Although water was plentiful, water could not be supplied to all areas by Handrineva. Of the 1400 ponds, only 130 were irrigated. Do not give water to this government .. will not contact anyone. Schemes need to be completed to bring water to the drought zones. ” Balakrishna Jaganmohan Reddy suggested to the government.

Balayya made these remarks while participating in the Seema TDP leaders’ conference in Hindupur today. The conference was aimed at conserving dark waters. The injustice being done to Rayalaseema in water resources and the exercise of Krishna waters-Rayalaseema rights are mainly discussed. The meeting was held at the local JVS function hall.
